The words of the Lord Jesus: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbour as yourself.” (Luke 10:27)
~~~~~~
Our ethos
We seek to live out the above words in every aspect of our lives. We recognize that the quality of our relationship with the Lord is the key to every other relationship. We try to encourage one another to be more like Jesus. We also realise that everyone is our neighbour and so have a responsibility to love them, too.
Our history
Berrymead Church has been on its present site since it was founded in the late nineteenth century. It has been through various phases since then. It was founded on Christian Brethren principles, with emphasis on bible-based church life, every member ministry, breaking of bread and adult baptism. These principles are still fundamental to us.
Current facts
We are a member church of the Evangelical Alliance and of Partnership. We belong to Churches Together in Acton and Ealing Common.
Currently, we have around 40 people (this includes children) attending our Sunday services. We have a drop-in coffee morning and weeknight clubs for children and young people each week. There are two home groups, also meeting weekly. In addition we have other, periodic, events to deepen the friendships among us.
We seek to make everyone welcome, irrespective of their ethnic background or abilities.
